Identify defects faster with the new Heat Maps

The heat map is an essential tool for performing a qualitative analysis of decisions made by Spark. However, the color scheme previously used was sometimes confusing, making it difficult to clearly identify the part’s areas which are actually defective.

We have therefore redesigned the heat map color scale to provide a representation that clearly highlights the defects detected by Spark.

Areas close to the detection threshold are also highlighted, allowing you to assess whether calibration adjustments are needed for your inspection application.

Calibrate your applications from the... Calibrate menu!

Calibration is a key step in creating an inspection application and optimizing its performance. It certainly deserved its own dedicated menu.

The calibration page is now more easily accessible, directly from the sidebar of your Spark inspection kit.

We also took this opportunity to make slight user interface improvements to streamline your experience and lay the groundwork for the upcoming calibration per view feature. Stay tuned!

Easily annotate images from the Spark kit

Visual inspection is a challenging and subjective task, sometimes requiring discussions to agree on quality decisions.

With the annotation feature, you can easily add labels to images of inspected parts to clearly pinpoint defects identified by the operator during image review. This greatly improves understanding of manual evaluations.
