Chapter 3:  Using the Spark system

1. Cleaning the system

The Spark station must be cleaned every month. The cleaning process must include:

• Cleaning the system with a dry non-electrostatic cloth for the mechanical elements. Be careful to not move a component when cleaning the viewing system!
• The condition and the correct position of all the screws,
• Check that no liquids or humidity have penetrated into the components.
• The technical condition of the machine, including the wear of moving parts and cracks,
• The condition of the electrical system (abrasion and/or mechanical damage),

Any nonconformity must result in temporary suspension of inspection system use until defective components have been replaced.

NOTE: It is prohibited to make modifications to the mechanical system or to the electrical systems without consulting Scortex beforehand with the approval for the planned modifications.

After repairs, the accuracy of the repairs made must be checked by your maintenance department. Repairs are at the Customer's expense.

2. Maintenance

In order to guarantee proper operation of the equipment, you must provide regular maintenance operations for the mechanical system.
