For whom is this application note intended?

This note is intended for automation technician(s), maintenance personnel who have the responsibility of integrating the Spark solution within a production solution.

Objective

At the end of this application note, you should be able to retrieve the quality results performed by your Spark station and use them in your applications.

The implementation presented will allow you to have great reliability on the following points:

• Interpretation of quality response
• Association between a physical part and its quality response

The goal is to create an automated application that retrieves the inspection results from the Spark station output and records statistics regarding these inspection results.

Required equipment

• 1* 24V power supply /
• 1* presence sensor (example: Telemecanique Sensors ****XUM8APXBM8)
• 1* industrial programmable logic controller (PLC) (example: Schneider Electric TM241CE24T)
• 1* Spark
• 2 "M12 4-pin" connectors provided with your Spark (example link)
• Connection cables for automation
